Terms of Service

1. Beta service

The Service is in beta. Features, plans, and pricing may change, and the Service may be unavailable or contain bugs. We provide the Service "as is" during the beta period without warranties of any kind.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of the resume content, personal information, and files you upload or enter ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you, including sending it to our AI provider (Anthropic) to power features you request.

You are responsible for the accuracy of Your Content, including any claims made in a resume generated through the Service.

4. AI-generated content

Some features use AI to summarize, rewrite, or tailor resume content. AI output may contain mistakes. You are responsible for reviewing and editing any AI-generated text before using it, including before sending it to an employer.

5. Plans and payment

During the beta period, paid plans may be disabled or offered free of charge. Once paid plans are enabled, billing terms (price, renewal, and cancellation) will be presented at checkout and incorporated into these Terms.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to create fraudulent or knowingly false resume content.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the Service or its infrastructure.
• Upload content that infringes someone else's rights or violates the law.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, doda career is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including outcomes related to job applications made with a resume created through the Service.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves, particularly as we exit beta. We will update the effective date above when we do.
